the dirt:

“scholars of sunshine pop” - Keith Cameron, Mojo

"A whirlwind of tangled acoustic and electric guitars that gets stuck in your head and continues to spin long after the tune is over" – NPR Heavy Rotation

Eyelids really had existed long before the band even started. In various previous groupings the band members had the great pleasure of creating music for some of the most legendary indie songwriters ever. From Robert Pollard (Guided By Voices) to Elliott Smith; from Colin Meloy to Stephen Malkmus (Pavement/Jicks). But just a few years ago these longtime friends started to channel their teenage Paisley Underground obsessions and love of New Zealand / Flying Nun guitar buzz into their own music which they described as “sweet melodies and bummer vibes.”

Recently Eyelids released a self-titled EP (produced by Peter Buck of R.E.M.), toured with the legendary Charlatans UK (who also decided to release Eyelids' debut album "854" in the UK), put out a hand silkscreened Record Store Day 7" and directed several music videos including one animated by Jack Cusamano (from the insane Adult Swim show Rick & Morty) and another which featured professional wrestlers singing their songs in earnest. The band does like to have a good time.

This limited edition 7" is just a look see to the next full length LP that they are working on. Buoyant, loud, pretty and haunting... It's all here (to hear)... All exclusive recordings for this release including a 3rd bonus track to bring home the wobble. Dig in!!!
